Could you please advise me where I can go for help and also if the Tories intend to change things for the good of everyone? My personal story is a huge one and has spiraled constantly since 2006 with an on ongoing dilemma from receiving treatment with the NHS in general. It began with a G.P who saw me some years ago; he created countless predicaments for me starting with my then next GP and I believe in hospitals even today by writing to one spinal surgeon I was waiting to be examined by. This surgeon failed to provide me with a bone scan instead he used me as a guinea pig for a class on fibromyalgia and paraded a group of students to see me in a semi-naked state, without my permission, when I sent a written complaint he chose to refuse to reply in writing. I have since had a bone scan but no diagnoses or advice due to the next hospital I was referred to not having any of my medical records. I was dismissed with no clue as who to turn to next. I personally am at a loss so how many others tell this same story and why are we treated in such humiliating a way?
Thanks to Gregg (a passionate Boris fan) in Ealing for directing me to the site. :) You gave me hope!
Who is your MP? He should be able to make representations on your behalf. If you are unsure who is your MP you can ring the House of Commons information office on 0207 219 4272 or ring 0207 219 3000 to speak to your MP's office direct.
Thank you Thank Melissa. I am not holding my breath as it has gone on for so long Doctors and surgeons are only to well known to be a law unto their own but I will do as you have recommended! I have lost all faith after all this time. How sad we cannot trust the medical staff that have been paid to do this work. It really is terrifying!
The update on my situation is it has worsened. I have still got no where and I would like to find an MP working for an improvement on the communication and quality of service of the NHS. I have gone down every avenue and still at a stalemate! My local MP has been made aware of this ongoing but has not been able to help.
Excuse me. I meant My MP has been made aware of this ongoing problems I have had with the NHS but from what I can gather is inundated with work and so far has been unable assist.
