(StevenL) LOL I think you took the bait - hook line and sinker! I cant stop laughing. I was careful not to get drawn into it.

You dont really believe that the resent demos against BNP were organised by the Iranians? I think that idea is quite offensive to balanced minded people who actively work against fascism. To suggest only the Iranains are organised enough to do it is just plain silly.

    This is funny...

I never said that the anti-BNP demos were linked to the Iranians, I said I liked the theory (and it is just a theory) that Iranian intelligence cells were trying to forment civil unrest.

The original post was talking about the clashes between hardline Islamist and EDL demonstrators, how do you know the old axis of evil isn't up to something?

I dont know for sure but since the first sanctions, the Iranians changed their policy of intereference and are pretty much quiet in the UK. The theory is flawed and full of holes which I didnt point out due to the large amount of text.

No doubt Ghazi will have something to say about it. If necessary I will respond fully. ButI agree the 'theory' is interesting if it stands up to scrutiny which I dont think it does.

I think the axis of evil is no longer a term used by the US so perhaps it no longer exists or perhaps it is acknowledged it was a means to an end for the previous US admistration.

I feel I must apologise to the participants in this thread as my posts went rather off-topic, and as for the conspiracy theory stuff, I can't believe anyone took it seriously. With ZERO evidence??

I am fond of conspiracy theories and love to concoct a spider's web, however I don't allow it to get in the way of real life. For the sake of the record, all that stuff about Iranian spies and religious extremists was not meant to be an accurate rendition of the prevailing situation in British society, but was just an entertaining, thrilling piece of creative fiction spicing up the forum with a bit of Persian/Oriental intrigue, that's all. Let's try and keep this thread on-topic from now on... Now then, back to the Wahhabis..
