“My word, there’s Boris!”  Back in the constituency in Goring-on-Thames today for a very rapid walkabout gathering the views and listening to the needs of residents ahead of this week’s election that will see a successor take over the Henley seat.  Thanks for sending the picture, Brian.

Confirmation

Boris has today officially confirmed that he is to step down as MP for Henley and a by-election will, therefore, be held.

Boris still here!

Despite his massive London commitments, Boris is still (somehow) fitting in his constituency work.  See this week’s Henley Standard where he is reported at two quite different Watlington events: one reopening the Watlington Memorial Club and the other welcoming the new M40 Watlington-London bus route that should ease the daily commute for many.


Rural post offices
