Flat caps only suit men with a long and thin face, definitely. Someone like, say, David Beckham, yes? This hat must look a bit bigger than your face. Think of a young country boy in a flat cap and you get the idea. Anyone with a moon face, please stay clear of flat caps, yes? Thank-you.

Strangely, I find unkempt men sexy. Unkempt. Not dirty and smelly, mind!

I love the bullingdon attire , the tails worn by the bullingdon members , for some reason seem very appealing to myself. I would much rather see the group that we label as ‘hoodies’ walking round in tails, wouldnt you?
I have a feeling that we may think twice aout our judgement of them were they to dress in this manner?
I also am quite drawn into the flowing sleeves corsets and large framed dresses in tudor times, but that is another story lol.
Fashion is a very popular subject however,
i feel that it sometimes does more harm than good.
There in my mind would be no problem with the idea if it was just a trend. Although, how many women buy clothes, and more clothes, that they will never even wear and that they really cannot afford? This leads to a shopping addiction spiralling debt, marital problems etc. All for something they do not actually need.
When you are younger you may get picked on for not having the latest trainers on your feet or designer brand. Some of us are more than willing to pay 1000′s of pounds for a handbag! For that price i am expecting one with a built in computer and butler to follow me around carrying my shopping. The size of these handbags sometimes do not even allow for a hairbrush!
Then we find designer labels hiring workers who slave their days away, sometimes 20 hours a day in dirty unhygienic factories just to ‘make a profit’.
I feel that they are the only ones making a profit, as everyone else involved in the process down to the consumer are faced with loss even if they have ‘the bag they always wanted’.
Fashion in any way shape or form is not my cup of tea, i can barely afford the hot water , let alone all the other ingredients that are needed to make the tea.

(i am starting to wonder why they actually let me in the olympia with soles falling off my trainers, tracksuit bottoms that were clearly too short, tattoos and dare i say it no make up! I thought i was getting a few funny looks!)

This is one of the reasons that schools supply a uniform as many children cannot afford the brands that are ‘in’ and it tends to remove yet another chance for bullies to do what they get their names for.

in my experience, pretending not to care about one’s looks is very popular among the vast majority of teens regardless of where they went to school.

that’s true here as well – I wonder if it’s some sort of global automotive industry plot to use up an oversupply. Perhaps it was all a mistake along the lines of:

“Bob, did you order – what is this? – 20 million gallons of car paint???? Damn! How did those extra zeros get in there?”

Well, that’s a relief :  the idea of mincing along Regent Street in a dixie-cup and a …  Oi (already) !

Sad to say it will likely go with virtually every-one’s motor-car ;  more than half the motor-cars on to-day’s British roads seem to be some shade of grey — langweilig !

If that means what I think, perhaps Gotham Girl needs to consider those of us that still have a waist :  the pleats — i.e. trousers (pants) with the waist narrower than the hips — are essential, if only to keep the shirt from flapping in the breeze.  (Also to preclude one’s splitting one’s seams when sitting down !)

Looking at some of those sites :  is it not amazing how, almost uniquely, we British manage to look as though we threw away the laundry and wore the bag ?  What’s more, we always look so happy about it.

Expensive brogues, baggy cords, stripey shirt, floppy hair boys: welcome to St Andrews.
