Violence statistics

Boris has asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are the percentage crime detection rates for:

  1. violence against the person
  2. sexual offences
  3. burglary
  4. robbery and
  5. theft from a vehicle was in each London borough

in each year since 1988, broken down by age group.

Token furriner has a couple of questions:

Just how many boroughs of London ARE there?

Shouldn’t it be “were” in each London borough?

32 of them, I believe. And yes, I muddled up the tenses: sorry. Blame the EU and translating perfectly good UK accounts into euros… :( Good to see you online.

32? Boris Johnson is every researcher’s worst nightmare for the next few months then. I bet when he asks for a cup of tea he brackets it with a request for the price of tea in each of the 32 boroughs for each of the past ten years.
