There is apoint to be made about the way the neighbourhood looks with energy-saving initiatives. A ‘small roof-top windmill’ soon becomes a bird-killing turbine! On the other hand, if HM Gov would use it’s prediliction for regulation to tighten the rules such that everyone knew exactly where they stood, then even the most dim-witted local planning official would be able to give a resident a straight answer and thus use less time contemplating his / her navel and become (even more) productive!

I wonder what the amendment in the name of the Dear Leader said. That he doesn’t endorse a cross-party consensus on climate change, perhaps?

Well done Boris. I certainly wouldn’t mind one of those devices on my house. Now if we could just get the government to review the power stations we already have and notice the efficiency of those available before blundering forth with nuclear power I’ll be a much happier voter.
