Er, no, not where the government is concerned. It never has been. It just gets called whatever the spin-doctors think might get the least attention — requisitioned, compulsory purchase, redeployment of resources, etc.
Look at how they steal the road tax for other purposes…

Townlands Hospital was built and paid for by locals. This administration seeks to permanaently deprive the people of Henley of their investment.

Theft IS still illegal, isn’t it?

A big thank you needs to be said to the organisers of this petition! As we know in Henley consituency action like this can work – WHAR (Watlington Hospital At Risk) as able to prevent its closure along with help from the right people I hope Townlands will be afforded a similar fate!
